Love Is Strong (album)

Love Is Strong is the title of the fourth studio album by country music artist Paul Overstreet released in 1992. It produced three singles, "Me and My Baby", "Still Out There Swinging" and "Take Another Run". While this album was not as successful as his previous two, "Me And My Baby" managed to reach the top 40 while the others didn't. The album itself peaked at #28 on the Billboard Top Christian Albums Chart while only reaching #60 on the Top Country Albums chart.

The song "There But for the Grace of God Go I" also won a Dove Award for Country Recorded Song of the Year at the 24th GMA Dove Awards in 1993.

Content

All songs were written or co-written by Paul Overstreet. "Lord She Sure is Good at Loving Me" was co-written with country music artist Randy Travis. Christian music singers Susan Ashton and Lisa Bevill provided background vocals on a couple songs while Kathie Baillie, lead singer for the country group Baillie & the Boys sings back up on "Me and my Baby". Glen Campbell also sings harmony vocals on "What's Going without Saying".

Love Is...

Love Is... is the name of a comic strip created by New Zealand cartoonist Kim Casali (née Grove) in the 1960s. The cartoons originated from a series of love notes that Grove drew for her future husband, Roberto Casali. They were published in booklets in the late 1960s before appearing in strip form in a newspaper in 1970, under the pen name "Kim". They were syndicated soon after and the strip is syndicated worldwide today by Tribune Media Services. One of her most famous drawings, "Love Is...being able to say you are sorry", published on February 9, 1972, was marketed internationally for many years in print, on cards and on souvenirs. The beginning of the strip coincided closely with the 1970 film Love Story. The film's signature line is "Love means never having to say you're sorry." At the height of their popularity in the 1970s the cartoons were earning Casali £4-5 million annually.

Roberto Casali was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 1975 and Kim stopped working on the cartoon to spend more time with him. Casali commissioned London-based British cartoonist Bill Asprey to take over the writing and drawing of the daily cartoons for her, under her pen name. Asprey has produced the cartoon continuously since 1975. Upon her death in 1997, Casali's son Stefano took over Minikim, the company which handles the intellectual rights.

Love Is... is an album by J-pop singer, Sachi Tainaka. It is her second studio album under the Sistus Records label. It was released on February 13, 2008 with a regular (CD Only) edition and a limited (CD+DVD) edition that contains the music videos of her first 4 released singles.
