Towa Tei (テイ・トウワ(鄭 東和), Tei Tōwa, born 1965) is a DJ, artist and record producer born in Yokohama, Japan. Towa debuted as a member of Deee-Lite, from the U.S. label Elektra Records in 1990, and shot to fame via their international hit single, "Groove Is In the Heart". He made his solo debut with the album Future Listening! in 1994. He has since relocated back from New York to rural Nagano prefecture in Japan
His concept party, "Hotel H", started in 2009 as a social spot for music industry people in Tokyo.
Towa began making demo tapes at the age of 16 having bought his first synthesizer, a Korg MS-10. While studying at Musashino Art University Junior College of Art and Design he sent his tape to a radio program of Ryuichi Sakamoto titled "Sound Street".
In 1987, Towa moved to the US to study graphic design and joined house act Deee-Lite, a trio with Supa DJ Dimitry and Lady Miss Kier, enjoying almost instant success after debuting in 1990 with their album World Clique and the single "Groove Is In the Heart".
"Love Forever" is Miliyah Kato's 15th single, released on May 13, 2009. It is a collaboration between fellow R&B/J-Pop singer Shota Shimizu, with whom Kato has previously collaborated with on the song "I'm Your Angel" from the album Tribute to Celine Dion.
On its first day the single debuted at #6. Three days later it would reach #1 and remain there for the rest of the week, becoming Kato's first single to reach #1 on the Oricon Daily Charts. The single would go on to debut at #5 on the Oricon Weekly Charts with first week sales of 34,094 copies, earning Kato her first Top 5 single and fourth Top 10. Within two weeks after its release, "Love Forever" became Kato's best selling single to date.
Track #3 is a cover of R. Kelly and Céline Dion's 1998 hit of the same name.
The single is certified Gold for shipment of 100,000 copies in Japan .
Toshi in Takarazuka - Love Forever is a 1983 Japanese dance and musical film directed by Umetsugu Inoue, presenting Toshihiko Tahara, a singer then noted for his abilities as a dancer, with a large supporting cast of singers and dancers – mainly drawn from the roster of the Johnny & Associates talent agency of Johnny Kitagawa. The film was shot in the Tokyo Takarazuka Theatre Tokyo and Yurakucho on January 29–30.
