"Lost in This Moment" is a song written by John Rich, Keith Anderson and Rodney Clawson, and by American country music duo Big & Rich. It was released in February 2007 as the first single from their album Between Raising Hell and Amazing Grace. The single became their first Number One hit on the Billboard country charts in mid-2007. Prior to its release, the duo's highest-charting single was "Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)", which reached #11.

Content

This song is sung from the perspective of a groom at his wedding. In the first verse, the bride walks down the aisle, where the groom and the preacher await. In the second verse, the couple exchange their vows, and the preacher pronounces the couple man and wife.

Keith Anderson, who co-wrote the song with Big & Rich's John Rich, also recorded the song. It is included on his second album, C'mon!, released on Columbia Records in August 2008.

Music video

The video features Big & Rich, in tuxedos, singing the song, backed by their road band. On a projection screen behind them, various clips from various time periods of couples at their weddings are shown. The music video was directed by Deaton-Flanigen.

Prism is the fourth studio album by American singer Katy Perry. It was released by Capitol Records on October 18, 2013. While the album was initially planned to be "darker" than her previous material, Prism ultimately became a prominently dance-inspired record. The singer worked with several past collaborators, while enlisting new producers and guest vocals. Much of Prism revolves around the themes of living in the present, relationships, and self-empowerment. Many critics praised the album's lyrical content for being more "mature" while others considered Prism to be more formulaic than her previous material.

The album debuted atop the US Billboard 200 with 286,000 copies sold, becoming Perry's best opening week to date. This Moment (album)

This Moment is an album by the Christian singer Steven Curtis Chapman. It was released on October 23, 2007, through Sparrow Records. "Cinderella" was released as a radio single and became popular in the United States, charting in the Top 10 on Christian Radio. Other radio singles were "Yours", which became a No. 1 single, and "Miracle of the Moment", which charted in the Top 10.

A Special Edition was released later, featuring acoustic versions of four of the songs from the album.

This Moment was well received by critics. Jared Johnson, of AllMusic, gave the album 3.5 out of 5 stars and wrote "You get the feeling that the man with the most Dove Awards in the history of the Gospel Music Association could write this stuff in his sleep. He's that good, and the tunes are that well done." John DiBiase, of Jesus Freak Hideout, gave the album 4 out of 5 stars calling it "a relevant and inspiring album that proves Steven Curtis Chapman still has plenty to offer the world of music twenty years after his debut."

In This Moment is an American metal band from Los Angeles, California, United States, formed by singer Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howorth in 2005. They found drummer Jeff Fabb and started the band as Dying Star. Unhappy with their musical direction, they changed their name to In This Moment and gained two band members, guitarist Blake Bunzel and bassist Josh Newell. In late 2005, bassist Newell left the band and was replaced by Pascual Romero, who in turn was quickly replaced by Jesse Landry. Landry was replaced by Kyle Konkiel in 2009 and Konkiel was replaced by Travis Johnson in 2010. Jeff Fabb and Blake Bunzel left the band in 2011, and were replaced by Tom Hane and Randy Weitzel respectively.

Their debut album, Beautiful Tragedy, was released in 2007. Their second album, titled The Dream was released the following year debuting at number 73 on the Billboard 200. The band's third album, A Star-Crossed Wasteland was released in 2010, and their fourth album titled Blood was released in August 2012 and debuted at number 15. They have performed on several notable tours and festivals including Ozzfest in 2007 and 2008, Warped Tour in 2009, Download Festival in 2009 and 2013, Mayhem Festival in 2010, Music as a Weapon V tour in 2011, the Uproar Festival in 2012, Rock on the Range in 2012, 2013, and 2015, the Carnival of Madness tour in 2013, Knotfest in 2014 and Rocklahoma in 2015. Their fifth album titled Black Widow was released in November 2014.
