Liverpool South Parkway railway station

Liverpool South Parkway station is a railway station and bus interchange in the Garston district of Liverpool, England. It serves, via a bus link, Liverpool John Lennon Airport in the neighbouring suburb of Speke.

The station is located towards the southern end of Merseyrail's Northern Line and on the junction of two main lines: the City Line from Liverpool to Manchester via Warrington and the Liverpool branch of the West Coast Main Line to London via Crewe.

Allerton Traction Maintenance Depot is situated to the immediate east of the station.

History

In the 1960s Merseyrail was being designed with an outer rail loop that circled the city. The proposal was to use the former Cheshire Lines Committee's North Liverpool Extension Line route through the eastern suburbs of Liverpool and the north south crossrail Northern Line that runs under the city centre to form the complete Outer Loop.

The proposal advanced into one large outer loop with two sub loops, one for the northern section of the city and one for the southern.

Beaver Island State Park

Beaver Island State Park is a New York state park located on Grand Island in northwestern Erie County, New York in the United States. It is situated at the southern end of the island on the bank of the Niagara River and served by the Beaver Island Parkway, a 2.72-mile (4.38 km) highway linking the park to Interstate 190 (I-190).

Included within the park is the Beaver Island State Park Golf Course, a USGA-recognized championship 18-hole, par-72 public golf course.

The present-day Beaver Island State Park opened in 1935 and is comprised of several historic Grand Island estates of Buffalo's elite that were donated to New York State for all Western New Yorkers to enjoy. These grand estates included:

Liverpool (2012 film)

Liverpool is a 2012 Canadian comedy crime film. Written and directed by Manon Briand, the film stars Stéphanie Lapointe as Émilie, a coat check clerk at a Montreal nightclub who decides to return a coat left behind one night by a woman who took a drug overdose in the club, only to find herself embroiled in the city's criminal underground. Her only ally in the quest is Thomas (Charles-Alexandre Dubé), a regular customer of the club and a potential new love interest for Émilie.

Liverpool was Briand's first film since 2002's Chaos and Desire.
