Little War may refer to:
The Little War (German: Kleinkrieg) was a series of conflicts between the Habsburgs and their allies and the Ottoman Empire between 1529 (after the Siege of Vienna) and 1552 (the end of the Siege of Eger). The war saw both sides suffering heavy casualties with the result that campaigning in Hungary would not cease until 1566. While overall, the Ottomans had the upper hand, the war failed to produce any decisive result. The Ottoman army remained very powerful in the open field but it often lost a significant amount of time besieging the many fortresses of the Hungarian frontier and its communication lines were now dangerously overstretched. At the end of the little war, the Turkish thrust into central Europe had effectively been stopped, but the Habsburg forces had failed in all their attempts to reclaim the whole of Hungary.
Following Suleiman's unsuccessful Siege of Vienna in 1529, Ferdinand I launched a counter-attack in 1530 to regain the initiative and avenge the destruction brought by Suleiman's 120,000 strong army.
The Little War or Small War (Spanish: Guerra Chiquita) was the second of three conflicts between Cuban rebels and Spain. It started on 26 August 1879 and after some minor successes ended in rebel defeat in September 1880. It followed the Ten Years' War of 1868–78 and preceded the final war of 1895–98, which resulted in American intervention and Cuban independence.
The war had the same origins as the Ten Years' War, and in many ways it was a continuation of it. Following his release after the Pact of Zanjón, Calixto Garcia travelled to New York and organized the Cuban Revolutionary Committee with other revolutionaries. In 1878, he issued a manifesto against Spanish rule of Cuba. This met with approval amongst other revolutionary leaders, and war began on August 26, 1879.
The revolution was led by Calixto Garcia, having been one of the few revolutionary leaders who did not sign the Pact of Zanjón. Among the other prominent leaders were Jose Maceo (the brother of Antonio Maceo), Guillermo Moncada, Emilo Nuñez. The revolutionaries faced many problems which were difficult to overcome. They lacked experienced leaders other than García, and they had a dire shortage of weapons and ammunition. Further, they had no foreign allies to help them, and the population was both exhausted from the Ten Years' War and lacked faith in the possibility of victory, desiring peace instead. In the west of the island, most of the revolutionary leaders were arrested. The rest of the leaders were forced to capitulate throughout 1879 and 1880, and by September 1880, the rebels had been completely defeated.
Axxis is a German heavy metal band that was founded in 1988. Their debut album, "Kingdom of the Night", became the best-selling debut album ever by a hard rock band in Germany in 1989.

When I jump to the left - you jump to the right
When I am dressing in black - you are dressing in white
You always do the opposite of everything I do
It I should name this kind of loving I would say to you
It's a little war - I get used to this fight
Like a little war - we're fighting side by side
Like a little war - the more we fight the more we love
Like a little war - we can't get enough
When I feel weak - you're got the power
When I'm late for a minute - you're late for an hour
I don't know the reason why we go to extremes
I feel that we need each other more than it seems
It's a little war - I get used to this fight
Like a little war - we're fighting side by side
Like a little war - the more we fight the more we love
Like a little war - we can't get enough
A little war
And when we're not together - you know it's really true
We feel we need each other more than this war
We belong together like summer and cold ice
The fight belongs to our love - that's what we're realized
A little war
In this little war - I get used to this fight
Like a little war - we're fighting side by side
Like a little war
Like a little war
The more we fight, the more love
