Closer to Truth is a continuing television series on PBS and public television originally created, produced and hosted by Robert Lawrence Kuhn. The first premiere series aired in 2000 for 2 seasons, followed by a second series aired in 2003 for a single season. The third series of the program, Closer to Truth: Cosmos. Consciousness. The show is centered on on-camera conversations with leading scientists, philosophers, theologians, and scholars, covering a diverse range of topics or questions from the cause, size and nature of the universe (or multiverse), to the mystery of consciousness and the notion of free will, to the existence and essence of God, to the mystery of existence (why is there anything at all).

"Closer" is a pop-rock song that Robin Grubert and Martin Tingvall wrote for the German singer Mandy Capristo. The play, which Robin Grubert and Martin Tingvall was produced, 2012 published on Capristos debut album Grace and released as the second single.
Capristo first presented on 20 July 2012, the song Closer than Voract James Morrison prior to 3000 visitors. Similarly, the song was on the EMI Best of Summer Hits Compilation 29th Published in June. The music video features the band as clerks in a supermarket with Healy as the mascot. When fed up with his job, he goes inside and starts singing on the speaker system. Payne, who was working at the register completely bored, takes out his bass and Dunlop and Primrose are dancing with the customers. When their boss, Ben Stiller in a cameo, hears music, he tries to find out where it comes from but it stops as soon as he looks out of his office. The music then resumes when Stiller goes back to his office. The video ends with the band leaving the supermarket together. The only instrument that appears is Payne's bass, whilst the rest of the band have nothing. Fran Healy is seen wearing a Radio Clyde t-shirt that reads "Radio Clyde 261". The video was directed by Michael Baldwin, who has also directed videos for Gabriella Cilmi, Dave Matthews Band, and Melanie C, among others. The t-shirt actually originated from Frank Zappa who wore a red version of the shirt previously.

24 is an American dramatic action/thriller television series co-created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran. It premiered on Fox on November 6, 2001.24 centers on the (fictitious) Los Angeles branch of the U.S. government's "Counter Terrorist Unit" (CTU). The series is presented in real time format; each one-hour episode depicts one hour's worth of events, and each season is a 24-hour period in the life of protagonist Jack Bauer (played by Kiefer Sutherland), a CTU agent. The first six seasons of the show are set in Los Angeles and nearby locations – both real and fictional – in California, although other locations have been featured. The first three seasons aired over a complete television season between October and May, taking hiatuses between blocks of episodes. In 2013, Fox announced that 24 would return as a limited series titled 24: Live Another Day containing 12 episodes which debuted on May 5, 2014.
