Lilium (members of which are true lilies) is a genus of herbaceous flowering plants growing from bulbs, all with large prominent flowers. Lilies are a group of flowering plants which are important in culture and literature in much of the world. Most species are native to the temperate northern hemisphere, though their range extends into the northern subtropics. Many other plants have "lily" in their common name but are not related to true lilies.
Lilies are tall perennials ranging in height from 2–6 ft (60–180 cm). They form naked or tunicless scaly underground bulbs which are their overwintering organs. In some North American species the base of the bulb develops into rhizomes, on which numerous small bulbs are found. Some species develop stolons. Most bulbs are deeply buried, but a few species form bulbs near the soil surface. Many species form stem-roots. With these, the bulb grows naturally at some depth in the soil, and each year the new stem puts out adventitious roots above the bulb as it emerges from the soil. These roots are in addition to the basal roots that develop at the base of the bulb.

Gonard plays the part of LilyMu's main antagonist, a purple-skinned, blue-haired creature set on either domination or destruction. In reality, Gonard is actually a sweet-natured young man who is friends with Mikey and appears to be ignorant and dim-witted. As opposed to the purple skin of his LilyMu character, Gonard actually possesses a more natural skin tone, albeit like Mitsuki, his hair is actually blue. He is the tallest of the LilyMu cast members.
Susanna may refer to:
Susanna (HWV 66) is an oratorio by George Frideric Handel, in English. The libretto, questionably attributed to Newburgh Hamilton, is based on the story of Susanna in chapter 13 of the Book of Daniel in the Bible. Handel composed the music in the summer of 1748 and premiered the work the next season at Covent Garden theatre, London, on 10 February 1749. The thirteenth chapter of the book of Daniel, considered apocryphal in Protestant tradition, tells how, during the captivity of the Jews in Babylon, a virtuous young woman was falsely accused of sexual promiscuity by two elders of the community who lusted after her themselves. The prophet Daniel exposed the two elders as liars and vindicated Susanna.
The Israelites, in chorus, lament their captivity. Susanna and her husband Joacim sing of their happiness in marriage and Susanna's father of his pride in having such a model wife as his daughter. Joacim must leave town for some days and husband and wife bid farewell. Two elders of the community, both filled with lust for the beautiful Susanna, plan to force themselves upon her during her husband's absence. The chorus comments that such wickedness will call down heaven's anger.
Susanna is a feminine first name. It is not very common in the US, and is found there predominantly among the American Jewish community. It is the name of at least two women in the Bible.[who?] It is often spelled Susannah, although Susanna is the original spelling. It is derived from Σουσάννα (Sousanna), the Greek form of the Hebrew שושנה Shoshannah, meaning lily (from Lilium family). سوسن (Susan) is the Persian spelling of this name. The spelling Susanna is used in Sweden, Italy, the Netherlands and Finland, as well as in the English-speaking world. The spelling Zuzana is used in Czech Republic and Slovakia and spelling Zsuzsanna in Hungary. In Poland it is Zuzanna. Even though very uncommon, it is also spelled Susana in Spain and Portugal, where it is more common.
The original Hebrew form Shoshana, from which all the above are derived, is still commonly used in contemporary Israel, often shortened to "Shosh" or "Shoshi".
