The Stellar Group, Inc. (which uses the trade name "Stellar") is a privately owned design, engineering, construction and mechanical services firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, and founded in 1985. The July, 2013 issue of Florida Trend magazine listed Stellar as Florida’s 60th-largest private company, and reported that it employed 639 people, including architects, engineers, constructors, refrigeration specialists and technicians.

Stellar provides services to commercial and industrial clients in various markets including food & beverage; refrigeration & cold storage; military; automotive; educational; healthcare; institutional; hospitality; power & utilities; and office properties. In the magazine's April 2011 "Top 500 Design Firms" list, which ranked companies based on design-specific revenue, Stellar was ranked #387.

"Stellar" is a song by Incubus, released as the second single from their third album Make Yourself. The song is one of the band's most successful reaching #2 on the Modern Rock Tracks.

The music video has the band playing in a surreal, celestial atmosphere. A young woman ends up traveling into space to meet lead singer Brandon Boyd. During the chorus, the band is seen playing in front of a white screen with floating lines and graphs spinning around in the background.

Lightspeed (Transformers)

Lightspeed is the name of several fictional characters in the various Transformers universes. Some English dubs of the Transformers: Victory animated series use the name Lightspeed for the character of Braver.

Transformers: Generation 1 (Technobot)

The first Generation 1 Lightspeed is a Technobot that forms the left leg of Computron. Despite his popularity and blazing speed as a car, he longs to be converted into an interstellar spacecraft.

Marvel Comics

The Technobots were among the Autobots who joined Fortress Maximus in leaving Cybertron for the planet Nebulos (Transformers: Headmasters #1). However, a crew of Decepticons under Maximus' rival Scorponok pursued them and the war began anew on Nebulos. Assisting the Autobot Headmasters Brainstorm and Hardhead against the Terrorcons and Horrorcons, the Technobots were first seen combining to form Computron in Transformers: Headmasters #3. They once again battled the Terrorcons as Abominus, defeating him and forcing the Decepticons to flee. Realizing the damage the war was doing, the Autobots, including the Technobots, departed Nebulos for Earth (Transformers: Headmasters #4).

Lightspeed (video game)

Lightspeed is a video game developed and released by MicroProse in 1990. It features a space flight simulator game and action game elements with an emphasis on strategy and exploration. The box describes the title as an "Interstellar Action and Adventure" game. The game features space exploration, trade, combat and diplomacy in the same vein as 4X s such as Master of Orion. Lightspeed, unlike the popular series of turn-based strategy games, plays out in real-time.

A sequel, entitled Hyperspeed, was released by MicroProse in 1991. It was nearly identical to Lightspeed, except that it included two additional star clusters for veterans of the first game.

Plot

The player must help recolonize the human race after the Earth's habitability is critically reduced by an ecological catastrophe. The entire human race is being housed in huge Conestoga-class colony ships, which are waiting for the player to secure at least one planet with an Earth-like environment and to also acquire enough material resources to ensure that the colony or colonies in question can build a fledgling industrial base as soon as possible.
