An elevator (US) or lift (UK) is a type of vertical transportation that moves people or goods between floors (levels, decks) of a building, vessel, or other structure. Elevators are generally powered by electric motors that either drive traction cables or counterweight systems like a hoist, or pump hydraulic fluid to raise a cylindrical piston like a jack.
In agriculture and manufacturing, an elevator is any type of conveyor device used to lift materials in a continuous stream into bins or silos. Several types exist, such as the chain and bucket bucket elevator, grain auger screw conveyor using the principle of Archimedes' screw, or the chain and paddles or forks of hay elevators.
Languages other than English may have loanwords based on either elevator (e.g., Japanese and Mandarin Chinese) or lift (e.g., Cantonese, Korean, Russian and Thai).
Because of wheelchair access laws, elevators are often a legal requirement in new multistory buildings, especially where wheelchair ramps would be impractical.

Titan is a fantasy board game for two to six players, designed by Jason B. McAllister and David A. Trampier. It was first published in 1980 by Gorgonstar, a small company created by the designers. Soon afterward, the rights were licensed to Avalon Hill, which made several minor revisions and published the game for many years. Titan went out of print in 1998, when Avalon Hill was sold and ceased operations. A new edition of Titan, with artwork by Kurt Miller and Mike Doyle and produced by Canadian publisher Valley Games became available in late 2008. The Valley Games edition was adapted to the Apple iPad and released on December 21, 2011.
Each player controls an army of mythological creatures such as gargoyles, unicorns, and griffons, led by a single titan. The titan is analogous to the king in chess in that the death of a titan eliminates that player and his entire army from the game. The player controlling the last remaining titan wins the game.
The main game board consists of 96 interlocking hexes, each with a specified terrain type.
Titan V is a steel roller coaster at Space World in Yahata Higashi ward, Kitakyushu, Japan.
In the Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing game, a titan is an enormous, powerful, and godly outsider. Though titans are supposedly of both chaotic good and chaotic evil alignments, the majority of them seem to be good. In appearance, a good titan resembles an enormous (25 feet tall) humanoid, with perfect beauty and strength. They are hardy and muscular, but nonetheless extremely handsome/beautiful. Every aspect of them (teeth, hair, etc.) is also perfect. Based on the Titans of the Greek and Roman pantheons, they dress themselves in traditional Greek garb such as togas and loincloths. They also dress themselves in rare and valuable jewellery to make themselves seem even more overpowering and beautiful.
The titan was introduced in the earliest edition of the game, appearing in the Dungeons & Dragons "white box" set (1974), the Greyhawk supplement (1975), and the Eldritch Wizardry supplement.
[Chorus:]
Feel like I'm falling down
Feel like I'm falling sown again
Somebody lift me, somebody lift me!
As I sit in my rooms, these walls seem to close, need applauds
No fans, no applauds, I'm lost!
Stop, fall, to the [?] thinking, thinking
Some things that make me realize I went way down
Way down to the deep and reaching with nothing to grab
These song ain't popping the guess
How long do it take for a dream to take through?
Man, I swear [?]
But it ain't number six, feeling like bozo
But I keep trucking in slow mode
Man, life is a slow [?] but I [?].
[Chorus: x2]
Feel like I'm falling down
Feel like I'm falling sown again
Somebody lift me, somebody lift me!
This feeling creeps like a thief
All is left is doubt and [?] belief
My excuse is gone I could use one now
Please don't bring me up, just to bring me down!
Hey, is it stress, or is it depression?
Cause it sure don't feel like a blessing
Don't feel like you came from the essence
Feel like somebody shot my intestines, destined for the sadness
The world of my heart has been darkening
Lately me and my girl be arguing
Broke up, never worst than the arguments
How we get so far from the [?]
So bad that we might never talk again
Ask why my life be [?]
So I replay like I've got no part in this
So I brought the pin and escaped [?]
All day I didn't [?] in the rage full of lost in a cage that I'm caught in suspension
So tired of this roller-coaster
One minute I'm cool, next minute I'm closed to tears,
I bet regret is coming to get me [?]
I'm falling down again!
[Chorus:]
Feel like I'm falling down
Feel like I'm falling sown again
