Identical Remote Controlled Reactions

Identical Remote Controlled Reactions is the second and final studio album by Australian nu metal group Superheist. It is the first to feature Joey Biro as the lead singer. The album proved far stronger than their previous album, The Prize Recruit, in song personality and overall weight in sound. Though not taken as well by critics, it was well received by the fanbase. The album itself seemed far more adventurous in sound, with short instrumental interludes included between songs and far more experimentation with keyboards and bass.

It was recorded at Backbeach Studios in Rye, Victoria by DW Norton, Fetah Sabawi and Adam Rhodes.

In February 2004, not long after their last tour, Superheist disbanded.

Background

In August 2001 Superheist supported Eminem at his Sydney concert, they also appeared at various festivals later that year: Livid (October/November), Meredith (mid-December), and Falls (late December). The group signed an international management deal with Gary Avilla (Papa Roach). However, founding lead singer Roderick "Berger" McLeod "no longer shared the band's commitment and enthusiasm" and had left in November.

Liberate (song)

"Liberate" is a song by the American heavy metal band Disturbed. The song was released as the third and last single from their second studio album, Believe. The word "fuck" is used 17 times as the word "motherfucker".

The single peaked at number 21 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, number 4 in the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart and number 22 in the Modern Rock Tracks chart.

Clip compiler is a multi-platform (Linux and Windows (Cygwin)) Clipper programming language compiler with many additional features and libraries (for gtk, fivewin, netto, MySQL, ODBC, cti, tcp, gzip, Interbase, Oracle, Postgres), which is quite fast, has support for Hyper-Six and FoxPro RDD's, and can compile existing Clipper source code with very minor changes.

Clip (firearms)

A clip is a device that is used to store multiple rounds of ammunition together as a unit, ready for insertion into the magazine or cylinder of a firearm. This speeds up the process of loading and reloading the firearm as several rounds can be loaded at once, rather than one round being loaded at a time. Several different types of clips exist, most of which are made of inexpensive metal stampings that are designed to be disposable, though they are often re-used.

The defining difference between clips and magazines is the presence of a feed mechanism in a magazine, typically a spring-loaded follower, which a clip lacks.

Stripper

A stripper clip or charger is a speed-loader that holds several cartridges together in a single unit for easier loading of a firearm's magazine. A stripper clip is used only for loading the magazine and is not necessary for the firearm to function. It is called a 'stripper' clip because, after the bolt is opened and the stripper clip is placed in position (generally by placing it in a slot on either the receiver or bolt), the cartridges are pressed down, thereby 'stripping' them off the stripper clip and into the magazine.
