Liam Boyle is a hurler who plays with Ballyduff and Kerry. His family are a famous Hurling and Football family in North Kerry and he has played both Football and Hurling with Kerry.
With Ballyduff Boyle won a County Senior Championship in 2006 when they beat Causeway 1-17 to 1-11 to give Ballyduff title since 1995, he added a second in 2010. He also won Minor County Championships in 1996 and 1998.
Boyle was a member of the Ballyduff side that won back to back North Kerry Senior Football Championship title in 2005 and 2006 when they over came Listowel Emmets in both finals.
Boyle is a member of the Kerry Senior hurling team and has also played Minor and U21 for Kerry. In 2003 he played in Croke Park in the National Hurling League Div 2 final only to lose out to Antrim by 3-18 to 3-12. He was the team caption in 2007 after Ballyduff County Championship win in 2006.
Boyle was a member of the Kerry Minor team in 1998 and won a Munster Championship medal that year. He also played U21 with the county both has little success.

Liam grew-up in Heywood, Greater Manchester, England. He was trained in drama at the Oldham Theatre Workshop. Whilst at college Liam was auditioned by the casting agent David Shaw for a film called Love + Hate, getting a small role in the film as Steve.
He has since appeared in various TV and film roles, including the awarding series The Street, Instinct and Land Girls. His most well known performance was as Elvis in the movie Awaydays. Liam subsequently appeared as Keva McCluskey in Powder, which was the second film adaptation of a Kevin Sampson novel after Awaydays.
He appeared in the ITV1 series Scott & Bailey as Dominic Bailey, the brother of DC Rachel Bailey. Dominic has recently got out of prison and is staying with Rachel to help get himself back on his feet. In 2013 he appeared in Skins Rise as Louis.

He had a very successful club career with Ballyduff. He won 11 Kerry Senior Hurling Championship 1973, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1984, 1988, 1989, 1991, 1993, 1994 and 1995. He was captain of the 1977 team. He played in the goal in the 1995 win with his sons Colm and Kenneth. He also played with Causeway for a time.
