Jack Hylton (2 July 1892 – 29 January 1965) was an English band leader and impresario who rose to prominence during the British dance band era.
He was born John Greenhalgh Hilton in Great Lever near Bolton, Lancashire, the son of George Hilton, a cotton yarn twister. His father was an amateur singer at the local Labour Club and Hylton learned piano to accompany him on the stage. Hylton later sang to the customers when his father bought a pub in nearby Little Lever, becoming known as the "Singing Mill-Boy". He also performed as a relief pianist for various bands.
His early career involved moving to London as a pianist in the 400 Club and playing with the Stroud Haxton Band. During the First World War, he moved to be a musical director of the band of the 20th Hussars and the Director of the Army Entertainment Division.

"Let There Be Love" is a popular song with music by Lionel Rand and lyrics by Ian Grant, published in 1940 (though apparently the first recording, by Van Alexander and his orchestra, was recorded May 29, 1939).
The song is a well-known standard with cover versions by many artists.
"Let There Be Love" is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter Christina Aguilera for her seventh studio album, Lotus (2012). It was written and produced by Max Martin and Shellback, with additional writing from Bonnie McKee, Oliver Goldstein, Oscar Holter and Jakke Erixson. Having originally collaborated with other producers in her earlier works, Aguilera stated that the "full circle" her career had taken became the right time to work with Martin. The song combines dance-pop, EDM and pop music genres, and is influenced by electronica and trance. Its instrumentation incorporates synths, drums and electronics.
"Let There Be Love" garnered positive reviews from music critics. Many praised Aguilera for not over singing and delivering a solid vocal performance, while others complimented the musical structure and composition. The song peaked at number 132 on the South Korea international singles chart following the release of the album, and at number one on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart.
Secrets of lovers
Whisper tonight
Broken down angel
Got lost in the cold daylight
The city is screaming
And I look for your eyes
Someone to lean on through the night
Your music talks to me and hits me tonight
One candle burning, I hear your voice say
So let there be love
Let there be love
Love
Let there be love
It heals and it hurts
She leads you to heaven's door
And leaves you for dirt
Someone to lean on, that's your own
Some magic conquers me and lives in my soul,
She comes like an ocean and I hear you sing
Love will conquer anything
So let it be love
Let it be love
Love
Let it be love
The wall's down
They're coming down
I can't slow
I know it now
So stay now
Hold on
And I'm praying
So let it be love
Let it be love
Love
Let it be love
I know what I want
I know what I feel
I know what I want
So let there be love
So let there be love
