Biography
Early life
Leslie Dixon grew up in the Bay Area. She is the granddaughter of photographer Dorothea Lange and landscaper painter Maynard Dixon.
Career
Some of the screenplays she has written include: Outrageous Fortune, Overboard, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Thomas Crown Affair, Pay It Forward, and Hairspray.
She was nominated for a Saturn Award for her Freaky Friday screenplay.
Personal life
She is married to screenwriter Tom Ropelewski. They reside in Beverly Hills, California.
