I say it's alright
Somebody said
"Why would you lie to yourself?"
I can't stand to see you this way
This can't be where you want to be
Nothing, nothing that you can say
Can hide that you've thrown it all away
I've seen the life run out of you
You've sacrificed it all too soon
You know at times it seems as though
Your thoughts can curse you
Day after day, don't leave things this way
If only you could see what you've missed

Why make your life much harder than it is
