25 (Adele album)

25 is the third studio album by English singer and songwriter Adele. It was released on 20 November 2015, through XL Recordings. Following the release and international success of her second studio album 21 (2011), Adele considered quitting the music industry and going out on a positive note. However, she decided to take a hiatus instead and raise her son. During her sabbatical, she suffered from writer's block and rescheduled studio sessions for a new album, fearing she had lost her ability to write songs. In 2013, Adele had a breakthrough and the material that eventually became 25 manifested, with writing and recording continuing through 2015.

Titled as a reflection of her life and frame of mind at 25 years old, 25 is a "make-up record". The album's lyrical content features themes of Adele "yearning for her old self, her nostalgia", and "melancholia about the passage of time" according to an interview with Adele by Rolling Stone, as well as themes of motherhood and regret. In contrast to Adele's previous work, the production of 25 incorporated the use of electronic elements and creative rhythmic patterns, with elements of 1980s R&B and organs. Like 21, Adele collaborated with producer and songwriter Paul Epworth and Ryan Tedder, along with new collaborations with Max Martin and Shellback, Greg Kurstin, Danger Mouse, the Smeezingtons, Samuel Dixon, and Tobias Jesso Jr.

Lay Me Down (Pixie Lott song)

"Lay Me Down" is a song by English recording artist Pixie Lott from her self-titled third studio album (2014). The song was released on 25 July 2014 as the album's second and final single.

Commercial performance

"Lay Me Down" failed to chart within the top 100 of the UK Singles Chart, peaking at number 114. Nevertheless, the single reached number seventy-eight on the UK Singles Sales Chart.

Music video

The music video for "Lay Me Down" was directed by Ben Falk and filmed in Cannes, France. According to Falk, Lott wanted the video to "evoke the glamour of Brigitte Bardot". The video premiered on 5 June 2014.

On April 9, 2013, Syfy renewed Haven for a fourth season of thirteen episodes, which premiered on September 2013. Production began on May 8, 2013 with the premiere picking up six months after the events of the season 3 finale. Former Eureka actor Colin Ferguson joined the cast as William, a stranger whose secret agenda leads him to Audrey. Emma Lahana and former Dexter actor Christian Camargo were cast in recurring roles as Jennifer Mason and Wade Crocker respectively.

Mo'ed Katan

Mo'ed Katan or Mo'edh Qatan (Hebrew: מועד קטן, lit. "little festival") is the eleventh tractate of Seder Moed of the Mishnah and the Talmud. It is concerned with the laws of the days between the first and last days of Passover and Sukkot (as both of these festivals are a week in length). These days are also known as "Chol HaMoed" days. Mo'ed Katan also discusses the laws of Aveilus (Bereavement). Consisting of only three chapters, it has a Gemara ("Completion") from both Babylonian Talmud and the Jerusalem Talmud.

Mākii

Mākii (マーキー) (born August 23, 1987 in Okinawa, Japan) is a Japanese musician who was formerly the vocalist and songwriter for the Okinawa-based band High and Mighty Color. She was the youngest member of the band. She has an older brother who introduced her to the world of music and anime. When she performed at a concert in Okinawa in 2003, a scout for a record label noticed her and Anti Nobunaga. Mākii refused the offer at first, wanting to pursue her career in Canada as a solo artist and to master the English language, but she ultimately joined the band. In 2007, she debuted in her first film, Anata wo Wasurenai.

On July 1, 2008, it was announced that Mākii had married Dreams Come True bassist & producer Masato Nakamura on June 22 and would be leaving the band by the end of 2008. In her parting message, Mākii thanked her fellow band members and all of their fans for supporting her and the group for such a long time.

She resumed musical activities in 2013 under the stage name MAAKIII with her first single "Chokankakutekichikaku" (超感覚的知覚, "extrasensory perception").
