Pony (Kasey Chambers song)
"Pony" is a country song written by Kasey Chambers and produced by Nash Chambers for Kasey Chambers third album Wayward Angel (2004). It was released as the album's third single on 16 January 2005 in Australia as CD single. The song became Chambers' third top ten hit in Australia and includes a reference to Ralph Stanley, the Folk, Bluegrass, and Country music legend.

Pony (album)
Pony is the debut and only album by the English psychedelic rock band Spratleys Japs. Released in 1998 on All My Eye And Betty Martin Music, the album was a side-project of Cardiacs frontman Tim Smith and his then partner Joanne Spratley. Although other musicians are credited as playing on the album, it is believed that this was part of an elaborate fictional conceit, and that in fact Smith and Spratley were the only musicians to have been involved with the recording.
Recording
According to the history of the album presented on the All My Eye and Betty Martin website, Pony was conceived as the result of an encounter between Spratley and a displaced American bar band called The Rev-Ups(Heidi Murphy, Mark Donovan and Viv Sherrif), in a dilapidated recording studio in The New Forest. Spratley subsequently introduced Smith to the band, and work began on recording an album in the Autumn of 1998. However, as there is no apparent evidence that the band nor the studio have ever existed, the veracity of this story is in doubt. A further reference was made to the alleged New Forest studio ('Sparrows Wars') on the 2007 album 'Yoni' by Ginger Wildheart which was produced by Tim Smith, where Smith allegedly recorded a church organ for the track 'Smile in Denial'.

Lawrence, New South Wales
Lawrence is a small town 13 km from Maclean, New South Wales, Australia. It is accessed by the Lawrence car ferry from Woodford Island or by travelling 30 kilometres north from Grafton. At the 2006 census, Lawrence had a population of 390 people. Lawrence has a number of sporting facilities including, a cricket field and soccer fields, a nine-hole golf course and tennis courts. Lawrence has a public school, a general store, post office, police station, Tavern and a local school and route bus service. It also has a museum housed in the old radio station building as well as very well preserved Public Hall of timber construction dating from 1892. The town is in the Clarence Valley Council local government area.

Lawrence (Amtrak station)
The Lawrence Amtrak station is a train station near downtown Lawrence, Kansas, United States served by Amtrak, the national railroad passenger system. Lawrence Station was built in 1956 by the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad to replace the Atchison Topeka Santa Fe Station built in 1883 which was damaged by the 1951 flood. The Mid-Century Modern station has been declared eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places.
During 2011, more than $1.5 million in station improvements were carried out, including the construction of a new 500 feet (150 m) platform and repairs to the platform canopy, new lighting and improved access for persons with disabilities. A ceremony was held on December 3 to mark the end of the project.The City of Lawrence is expected to obtain ownership of the station in 2014, and has been awarded a $1.2 million grant to carry out a complete restoration of the structure.
