Laughing was the first release by Australianalternative country musician Anne McCue. It was released in 1996. This independent release received limited airplay on the Australian airwaves via ABC's Radio National and 'Always' appeared in the Aussie indie film 'This Space Between Us' (this info courtesy www.girlmonstar.com).
Brown had already deployed this approach on her 2023 debut EP ‘Why Aren’t You Laughing?’, which was steeped in an eclectic range of influences, from grunge to indie-rock and shoegaze ... A new EP will follow later this year.
