Lahash, Iran
Lahash (Persian: لهاش, also Romanized as Lahāsh and Lehāsh; also known as Lāsh) is a village in Chelav Rural District, in the Central District of Amol County, Mazandaran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 17, in 5 families.

Lash (band)
Lash were an all-female alternative/punk rock band from Perth, Australia. The members Belinda-Lee Reid (vocals, guitar), Jaclyn Pearson (drums), Jessica Bennett (lead guitar) and Micaela Slayford (vocals, bass) all met in high school (Santa Maria College) in Attadale, Western Australia and formed the band Exteria in 1996.
History
After being together for three weeks, the girls entered the song "Aloha Mr Hand" into the Open Youth Category for under-18s in the 1996 West Australian Music Industry Awards. The four 14-year-olds (at the time) won the $1,000 prize, and came to the attention of manager Andrew Klippel.
In 2001, now renamed Lash and signed to Festival Mushroom Records, their first two singles ("Take Me Away" and "Beauty Queen") reached the top 40 Australian ARIA Singles Chart, but did not sell enough to validate the large investment by their record company. "Take Me Away" saw Lash nominated for the 2001 ARIA Music Awards for "Best New Artist - single" (it was won by The Avalanches).

The province made part of First Region upon the division of the provinces into five regions solely for coordination and development purposes on June 22, 2014.
In the early 20th century, Reza Shah connected northern Elbourz to the southern slopes by constructing seven new roads and railways, the provinces of Mazandaran and Gilan became known as Shomal by all Iranians (meaning "the North" in Persian). It is a Caspian province in the north of Iran. Located on the southern coast of the Caspian Sea, it is bordered clockwise by Russia (across the sea), Golestan, Semnan, Tehran, Alborz, Qazvin, and Gilan provinces. Sari is the largest city and the capital of Mazandaran province.
Mazandaran is one of the most densely populated provinces in Iran and has diverse natural resources, especially large reservoirs of oil and natural gas. The province's four largest counties are Sari, Amol, Nur, and Tonekabon . Founded as a province in 1937, Mazandaran was declared the second modern province after neighbouring Gilan.

In Shahnameh, Mazandaran in the land of great Divs (demons). It is such a horrible place that no Shah of Iran dare to go there and conquer the land. One day a Div comes to Kai Kavus and reads a poem for him and describes the beauties of Mazandaran. Being impressed by the Div's description, Kai Kavus, who is an irrational and unwise man, decides to conquer Mazandaran. Everyone is opposed to this decision, because even great kings such as Jamshid and Fereydoon didn't try to conquer the land, nonetheless, Kai Kavus insists on it. Hi goes there, but was defeated and imprisoned by the Div's of Mazandaran. He and two-thirds of his army were blinded by Divs. He wrote a letter to Zaal and asks him to come to Mazandaran and rescue him. But Zaal is old and he can't go there himself. Instead, he sends Rostam, who is a child at the moment, to Mazandaran. Rostam has to pass Haft Khan in order to get to Mazandaran.
