Lancôme is a French luxury perfumes and cosmetics house that distributes products internationally. Lancôme is part of the L'Oreal Luxury Products division, which is its parent company and offers skin care, fragrances, and makeup at higher-end prices.
Founded in 1935 by Armand Petitjean in France, as originally a fragrance house. The name "Lancôme" was inspired by the ruins of a castle, Le Château de Lancosme, while the roses in the area inspired the company’s symbol of the single golden rose.
Lancôme launched its first five fragrances in 1935 at the World's Fair in Brussels: Tendre Nuit, Bocages, Conquete, Kypre and Tropiques. Petitjean entered into the luxury skincare market, launching Nutrix, his first "all-purpose repair cream" in 1936, followed by make-up, cosmetics, and skincare products. Lancôme was acquired by L'oreal in 1964, and quickly became part of its luxury products division.
The company provides fragrances, skin care, and makeup. Their most famous products include their mascaras, namely "Hypnôse", their Visionnaire Range which contains a patented ingredient, "LR 2412", aimed to improve skin texture qualities, especially in pore reduction, fine lines and uneven skin tone. Lancome has recently released a new serum called "Dreamtone", which claims to improve on colour irregularities including sun spots and blemish marks. The serum is available in three colour integrals, fair, medium and dark to match individual skin tones.

The other night I took the long way home,
Out past the old schoolyard,
It's funny how you keep it all inside,
Dreams they do die hard.
I closed my eyes and I could see your face
Somewhere back in time,
One summer night a million miles ago,
Back when you were mine.
Say yes, say no,
Say that I'm grabbing at shadows,
But, don't carve the words in stone,
I know it's late,
But, can't you see I was only
Taking the long way home?
Sometimes its easy to get all wrapped up
In trying to be free,
And all those dreams I sailed away to find,
Were right in front of me.
Say yes, say no,
Say that I'm grabbing at shadows,
But, don't carve the words in stone,
One of these days,
You're going to see I was only
Taking the long way home.
Although the letters stopped many years ago,
I'll show you even time could not keep this heart from letting go.
The other night I took the long way home,
Out past the old schoolyard,
It's funny how you keep it all inside,
Dreams they do die hard.
Say yes, say no,
Say that I'm grabbing at shadows,
But, don't leave me here all alone,
One of these days,
You're going to see I was only
Taking the long way home.
Say yes, say no,
But, don't leave me here all alone,
One of these days,
You're going to see I was only
Taking the long way home.
Say yes, say no,
But, don't leave me here all alone,
One of these days,
You're going to see I was only
