Labour Party or Labor Party may refer to:
The Labor Party was a short-lived political party in the Territory of Hawaii. It was founded to support William Charles Achi in his campaign for Mayor of Honolulu in 1908 but lost.
The Labour Party (French: Parti travailliste, PT) is a New Caledonian political party established on 18 November 2007. It is radically pro-independence and backed by the trade union Union of Kanak Workers and the Exploited (Union syndicale des travailleurs kanaks et des exploités, USTKE). It is considered close to the French alterglobalization movement led by José Bové.
The PT supported two candidates in the French legislative election, 2007. Louis Kotra Uregei obtained 5.45% in New Caledonia's 1st constituency and François-Xavier Apock obtained 6.20% in New Caledonia's 2nd constituency.
In the latest legislative election of May 10, 2009, it won 7.97% of the vote and 3 seats in the Congress of New Caledonia. It won 11.97% in the North Province and 20.06% in the Loyalty Islands.
Doolittle is the second studio album from the American alternative rock band Pixies, released in April 1989 on 4AD. The album's offbeat and dark subject material, featuring references to surrealism, Biblical violence, torture and death, contrasts with the clean production sound achieved by the newly hired producer Gil Norton. Doolittle was the Pixies' first international release, with Elektra Records acting as the album's distributor in the United States and PolyGram in Canada.
Pixies released two singles from Doolittle, "Here Comes Your Man" and "Monkey Gone to Heaven", both of which were chart successes on the US chart for Modern Rock Tracks. The album itself reached number eight on the UK Albums Chart, an unexpected success for the band. In retrospect, album tracks such as "Debaser", "Wave of Mutilation", "Monkey Gone to Heaven", "Gouge Away", and "Hey" are highly acclaimed by critics, while the album, along with debut LP Surfer Rosa, is often seen as the band's strongest work.
RAIN ON MY DOORSTEP
I GOT YOU ON THE LINE
THERE'S SOMETHING MISSING
THAT MONEY CAN'T BUY
WEIGHT ON MY SHOULDER
WHY WOULD YOU LEAVE
I THOUGHT WE WERE SPECIAL
YOU GOT ME ON MY KNEES
DON'T BRING IT DOWN - IT DOWN
DON'T SAY IT'S OVER NOW
I CAN'T ENDURE THE PAIN
DON'T BRING IT DOWN
BABY LET IT BE
WORDS BEING SPOKEN
TRYING HARD TO UNDERSTAND
LIFE HAS NO MEANING
IF I CAN'T BE YOUR MAN
YOU SAY LOVE IS OVER
AND THAT WE GREW APART
THE VOICE OF ANOTHER
ECHOES IN YOUR HEART
DON'T BRING IT DOWN - IT DOWN
DON'T SAY IT'S OVER NOW
IF YOU'RE GONNA LET IT RAIN
DON'T BRING IT DOWN
DON'T BRING IT DOWN ON ME
BABY LET IT BE
YOU KNOW I CAN'T ENDURE THE PAIN
RAIN ON MY DOOR
YOU'RE NOT HERE ANYMORE
AND I NEED AN ANSWER OR A REASON
CUTS LIKE A KNIFE
I AM STABBED IN THE SIDE
AND I BLEED
DON'T LEAVE ME BURNING IN THE FIRE
.YOUR BLOOD RUNS SO COLD.
DON'T BRING IT DOWN - IT DOWN
DON'T SAY IT'S OVER NOW
IF YOU'RE GONNA LET IT RAIN
DON'T BRING IT DOWN
DON'T BRING IT DOWN ON ME
BABY LET IT BE
IF YOU GONNA LET IT RAIN
LORD DON'T BRING IT DOWN
DON'T BRING IT DOWN
'CAUSE I CAN'T ENDURE THE PAIN
DON'T BRING - DON'T BRING IT DOWN
