Adolfo Margarito Tapia Ibarra (born November 14 is a Mexican Luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler. For years he has worked under the ring name L.A. Park, but is best known throughout the world as La Parka, especially from his many years in World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He was forced to change his name from "La Parka" to "L.A. Park" (Short for La Auténtica Park; "The Original Park") in early 2003 when Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) owner Antonio Peña asserted his copyright claims to the La Parka character, barring Tapia from using the name as he promoted his own La Parka. Tapia has worked for every major and a lot of minor wrestling promotions in Mexico as well as wrestling in Japan. Tapia's uncle originally wrestled as Volador, but later changed his character to Super Parka after Tapia gained world wide fame as La Parka. In 2008 a wrestler called "Black Spirit" made his professional wrestling debut and in 2010 it was officially acknowledge that he was the son of Adolfo Tapia when he started to work as El Hijo de L.A. Park ("the son of L.A. Park") He has held the IWC World Heavyweight Championship once.
Jesus Alfonso Huerta Escoboza (born January 4, 1966) is a Mexican luchador enmascarado, or masked professional wrestler, better known as La Parka, who has worked for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) since the mid-1990s.
Escobedo is not the first wrestler to use the ring name "La Parka", Adolfo Tapia was the original La Parka but did not own the trademark or copyright on either the name or the character. In the late 1990s the current Escobedo was billed as La Parka, Jr. and then in 2003 he became the "official" La Parka while Tapia was forced to stop using the name and instead became known as L.A. Park.
Escobedo made his debut in 1987, working as Bello Sexy. After working as Bello Sexy for five years he changed his gimmick to Maligno (Spanish for "Evil"), which he used until 1995. In this time period he also briefly worked as Crater and Santa Esmarela.
