Fiesta (R. Kelly song)

"Fiesta (Remix)" is a number-one R&B single by singer R. Kelly and featuring rappers Jay-Z & Boo & Gotti. The hit song spent five weeks at number-one on the US R&B chart and peaked at number six on the US pop chart. R. Kelly and Jay-Z have worked several times together. In 2002, they released album "The Best of Both Worlds" which sold 285,000 copies in its first week. The single is ranked by Billboard as the best selling and most played R&B/Hip Hop song of 2001.

Background

“Fiesta (Remix)” follows the previous singles and music videos, “I Wish” and “I Wish (Remix)”. In 2001, this song spent five weeks at #1 on the US R&B chart and also reached #6 on the US pop chart. The original fiesta track is one of nineteen tracks on the TP-2.com album by R. Kelly.

Fiesta (Denise Rosenthal album)

Fiesta is the debut solo album by Chilean singer-songwriter Denise Rosenthal. It was available for physical release in Chile on November 6, 2013 via FeriaMix Santiago. On November 8, 2013, the album was available to purchase digitally in iTunes in the United States, Chile, and the rest of Latin America. Rosenthal released the album under the stage name, "D-Niss".

Production

Rosenthal began recording songs for the album as early as 2011. The album is Rosenthal's first release as a solo artist. Her previous discography included albums from telenovelas where she portrayed a character. The album includes 11 Spanglish songs all written or co-written by Rosenthal. It is a fusion of pop, urban and R & B influences. Rosenthal worked on the album in Santiago for eight months with help from producer Bastián Herrera. Rosenthal rerecorded her vocals from the single, Just Better Alone for the album.

Promotion

The album's first official single, "I Wanna Give My Heart" was released to Chilean radio stations in November 2011.It was released on iTunes in Chile on November 21, 2012. A music video was shot in Santiago and Pirque, Chile and released on YouTube on November 30, 2011. The lyrics were written by Rosenthal and composed by Neven Ilic.

Leisure

Leisure has been defined as a quality of experience or as free time. (1)

Free time is time spent away from business, work, job hunting, domestic chores and education. It also excludes time spent on necessary activities such as eating and sleeping. From a research perspective, this approach has the advantages of being quantifiable and comparable over time and place.Leisure as experience usually emphasizes dimensions of perceived freedom and choice. Certainly most people's leisure activities are not a completely free choice, and may be constrained by social pressures, e.g. people may be coerced into spending time gardening by the need to keep up with the standard of neighbouring gardens or go to a party to because of social pressures..

Slam pong

Slam pong is a form of beer pong. Unlike many other variants of beer pong, slam pong is a fast-moving game that retains some of the rules of table tennis but borrows inspiration from the rules and game play of volleyball. The name slam pong is derived from beer pong, which is in turn was derived from Ping Pong, a trademarked name for a brand of table tennis merchandise. The "slam" in slam pong refers to the action of slamming a table tennis ball with a paddle into a plastic cup of beer placed on the table, the fundamental way of scoring points in the game.

History

Beer Pong with paddles can trace its origin to the mid-1950s, when fraternity houses at Dartmouth College first began to experiment with drinking games that included the placement of a newly-available plastic cup full of beer on a table tennis table during a game. An Alpha Phi Delta fraternity alumnus, David Thielscher, class of 1954, recalled in an interview for The Dartmouth newspaper that beer pong was played when he was an undergraduate. The objective was to try to hit the ball with a paddle into the cups. The sport seems to have been played in a rather informal manner through the latter half of the 1950s and the 1960s and spread to a limited number of other college campuses in the northeastern United States.

Leisure 17

Leisure 17 is one of a series of cruisers manufactured by the British shipyard Cobramold Ltd (later renamed in Brinecraft Ltd). The boat is made for offshore sailing.

History

The Leisure 17 was built between 1965 and 1990. A total of 4500 units were built. It was designed to be a family cruiser. The hull is made from Glass-reinforced plastic. It came in two designs: a double-keel version and a fin-keel version. With both versions the keels are made from cast iron. Since the kim-keel version has a quite low draft (0,65 cm), it is popular in tidal waters. From 1980 the Leisure 17 SL came in a new shape including a larger cabin.

Deck

The cockpit provides space for up to four persons. A locker is placed between the cockpit and the stern. The stanchions and guard rail make the Leisure 17 look like a much bigger cruiser and provide the ideal fixing point for protective fenders. A small pipe placed at the bow leads to the anchor chain locker.
