I'm more than just fed up with you
The sweeter taste of somehting new
I'm more than just your alibi
The bitter pill that you deny
Cause I knew - You're all that I was looking for
I tried to - be patient for a better you
It's all new - nothing's like it used to be
Inside thought - your tender lies are hurting me
I'm more than just a friend of yours
The one you'd stab with no remorse
Still more than just your alibi
The bitter pill that you deny
Cause I knew - You're all that I was looking for
I tried to - be patient for a better you
It's all new - nothing's like it used to be
Inside thought - your tender lies are hurting me
Cause I knew - You're all that I was looking for
I tried to - be patient for a better you
It's all new - nothing's like it used to be
Inside thought - your tender lies are hurting me
And all the winding roads
Leading me to you
And with all you know
We'll start something new
For all the broken roots
For all the pain undone
Even a broken heart
