Kopy
Kopy [ˈkɔpɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Krośniewice, within Kutno County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Krośniewice, 18 km (11 mi) west of Kutno, and 60 km (37 mi) north-west of the regional capital Łódź.

Kopys (Russian: Копысь, Russian pronunciation: [ˈkopɨsʲ]) (Belarusian: Копысь, Belarusian pronunciation: [ˈkopɨsʲ], Polish: Kopyś, Yiddish: קאָפּוסט) is an urban-type settlement in the Orsha Raion, Vitebsk Region, Belarus. First references are dated by 1059.
It is the birthplace of Belarus' current president Alexander Lukashenko.
The Kapust Hasidic dynasty originates in Kopys. By the end of the 18th century there was a Jewish typography in Kopys.
A castle stood in the town of Kopys.
