I know, I know, you see me as your own
And you like that
I know, I know, you have to be alone
'Cause you are like that
O-oceans of pa-assion, withi-in your eye-eyes
Don't wanna be your posse-e-ession
The first ti-i-ime
Too-oo young, don't you think
To-oo promise anything
Too-oo young, can't you see
Understand me and let me be
Too-oo young, don't you think
To-oo promise anything
Too-oo young, don't you know
Understand me and let me go
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ah-ay, I'm too young for promises
I know, I know, you got to prove your proud
'Cause you're like that
I know, I know, you make me speak in tones
'Cause you are like that
Chan-anges of seasons, I haven't lived through-ough
Tell what you want and have free-ee-eedom
So what do I do-oo
I'm too-oo young, don't you think
To-oo promise anything
Too-oo young, can't you see
Understand me and let me be
Ah-ay, Too-oo young, don't you think
To-oo promise anything
Too-oo young, don't you know
Understand me and let me go
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
I'm too young for promises
Ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Ah-ay, I'm too young for promises
I'm too-oo young, don't you think
To-oo promise anything
Too-oo young, can't you see
Understand me and let me be
(To young for promises)
I'm too-oo young, don't you see
