    Komar is a caste in north-east India that originated from the Domars in 1913.

    Practices

    Domar's members live by the Juu-Akir, which teaches the worship of a deity in the form of a flame. They are also believed to trace their origin to Rosh Singh, who preached Vegetarianism.
