Ko So-young

Ko So-young (born October 6, 1972) is a South Korean actress and model. She graduated from Chung-Ang University with a major in drama and cinema.

Biography

So-young was born in Seoul, South Korea. She attended an all-female high school before gaining early admission to Chung-Ang University, where she studied computer science.

So-young debuted in the TV drama Love Tomorrow in 1993 and quickly established herself as a representative star of her generation. She made her film debut opposite Jung Woo-sung in The Fox with Nine Tails in 1994, which ranked as the first Korean film ever to use computer-generated images. However, it failed to make an impression on audiences or critics. Ko first achieved wide recognition through her role in Beat (again with Jung Woo-sung), a film that caught the imagination of many South Korean high school students. Since then she has acted in a series of successful melodramas, portraying a young model in If the Sun Rises in the West, a Jeju Island tour guide in Love Wind, Love Song, and a Korean American adoptee in Love.

Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010

Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010 is the third teen edition and the eighth series overall of the Philippine reality TV show Pinoy Big Brother. It began airing on the night of April 10, 2010 (PHT) and ended over two months later on June 26 of the same year. This is the first Teen Edition to be held after a regular season instead of a Celebrity Edition. Toni Gonzaga, Bianca Gonzales and Mariel Rodriguez reprise their roles as hosts of the show. It lasted for 78 days, surpassing the second Teen edition for the longest Teen Edition by only one day.

There were two sets of auditions for this edition. The first was held simultaneously with those of the third regular season from March to May 2009. As these auditions were held a year in advance, the age limit was lowered to 14-17. A second set of auditions was held in March 2010, this time with an advanced registration through SMS, the age limit for auditioning was 15-18. A total of around 50,000 auditioned, from which 16 were chosen to enter the house on Day 1. A total of 27 housemates have entered the House, including the replacement housemate that entered on Day 20 and 10 foreign teens that entered on Day 22.
