Knis

Knis [knis] (German Gneist) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ryn, within Giżycko County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of Ryn, 17 km (11 mi) south-west of Giżycko, and 72 km (45 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).

The village has a population of 80.

In addition to streaming its programming at pilgrimradio.com, the signal is broadcast over-the-air on KNIS in Carson City, Nevada, KNVQ in Elko, Nevada, KDOX in Big Pine, California, KCSP-FM in Casper, Wyoming, KDNR in Cheyenne, Wyoming, KTME in Rock Springs / Green River, Wyoming, KPMD in Evanston, Wyoming, KMJB in Lander / Riverton, Wyoming, and KLMT in Billings, Montana. Its signal is also extended by a network of 32 FM translators in Nevada, California, and Wyoming.
