Kiss (surname)

Kiss is a very common Hungarian family name, contrary to popular belief it does not mean small. In Hungarian small means: "kis". It may refer to:

Kiss (Bad Boys Blue album)

Kiss is the ninth studio album of German band Bad Boys Blue. It was released on September 27, 1993 by Coconut Records. One single was also released. John McInerney performed "Kiss You All Over, Baby" which before had been sung by Trevor Taylor. The song "Save Your Love" from the previous album was performed here as "Aguarda Tu Amorin" in Spanish. The song "Kisses And Tears" is taken from the second album.

This record was the last with Trevor Bannister. In 1993, Bad Boys Blue toured around Africa with singer Owen Standing who never was an official band member.

Kiss 105-108

Kiss 105-108 is East Anglia's radio station, playing dance music and R'n'B across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and North Essex. It has been known as Vibe 105-108, Vibe FM and briefly Non-Stop Vibe which ran successfully from 22 November 1997 until relaunch on 6 September 2006 as part of the Kiss network, alongside sister stations Vibe 101 in Bristol (which became Kiss 101 on the same date) and Kiss 100, London.

All three Kiss stations started to carry the new Kiss logo, and the core music genre followed Kiss 100's more urban bias (the Vibe music brand was much more dance oriented). Kiss 105-108 and Kiss 101 retained some shows and DJs who had presented under the Vibe brand, but also offered shows that were simulcast by one DJ across two or all three stations including international high profile DJs such as Armin Van Buuren and John Digweed.

Kiss 105-108 used to be broadcast from Reflection House, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, however now relays Kiss 100 for everything.

Prince (2011 film)

Prince is a 2011 Kannada film in the action and romance genre starring Darshan Tugudeep, Nikita Thukral and Jennifer Kotwal in the lead roles. The film has been directed and written by Om Prakash Rao and produced by Sandesh Nagaraj under Sandesh Combines. This film is a remake of Telugu film SHOCK starring Ravi Teja And Jyothika The music of the film was composed by V. Harikrishna. The movie is based on the 2006 Telugu movie Shock (2006 film).

Sand Land

Sand Land is a short manga series written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine during the summer of 2000 and collected into one tankōbon volume on November 2, 2000 by Shueisha.

Sand Land was serialized in North America by Viz Media in their English Shonen Jump magazine in 2003. It was later released in one graphic novel on December 24, 2003.

Plot

After enduring years of natural disaster and war, the world is left without its main supply of water; the river that provided water to the country dried up long ago. With the greedy king of the land's personal water supply becoming increasingly more expensive for the citizens of Sand Land to buy, the people begin robbing one another for water and money. Sheriff Rao, tired of the king's greed, approaches the demons of Sand Land for help in searching for a new water supply. Demon prince Beelzebub and his friend Thief agree to join Rao.

Soon after their quest begins, their car breaks down and they are forced to steal a tank from the king's army. This attracts the anger of the king and he mobilizes his forces to stop them. Sheriff Rao, a former legendary general of the king's army, is able to quickly deal with all of the current army's attempts to hinder their progress. Once they reach the supposed water supply at the end of the now dried up river bed, they find a lake that now acts as the king's private reserves. With the water sealed away behind a dam to give the king a monopoly over water, Rao, the demons, and those sympathetic to their cause tear it down. With the water returned to the world as a result, the king's oppressive rule is brought to an end.

Prince (album)

Prince is the eponymous second studio album by American recording artist Prince. It was released on October 19, 1979 by Warner Bros. Records. The album was written, arranged, composed, produced and performed entirely by Prince, with the only known contribution from another person being "some vocal harmony" added by close friend/bassist André Cymone on Track 2.

Prince recorded the album in just a few weeks after Warner Bros. asked for a follow-up to his 1978 debut, For You. Prince had used twice his initial recording advance on the album, and it had failed to generate a pop hit (although "Soft and Wet" became a No. 12 R&B hit). Displeased at his lack of success, Prince quickly recorded the follow-up.

Overall, the album was much more diverse and well-received than For You, critically and commercially. The success of this album geared Prince towards his next, Dirty Mind, which would be called a complete departure from his earlier sound.
