Journeyman (sports)
In American English, a journeyman or journeywoman is an athlete who is technically competent but unable to excel. The term is used elsewhere (such as in British and Australian contexts) to refer to a professional sportsman who plays for a large number of different clubs during his career.
American English
Journeymen players are usually distinguished from an elite or "star" player. Quirk and Fort note that the concerns of journeymen players and superstars, with respect to contract and other negotiations, differ: Superstars are concerned with the preservation of their rights to be free agents, whilst journeymen players are concerned with issues such as league minimum salaries and player pensions. Fort observes that this leads to conflicts between journeymen and superstars, such as (Fort's example) the 1995 attempt by a group of superstar players to derail the agreement between the NBA and its players' association. Holt and Mason note that in football, golf, flat racing, snooker, cricket, and other sports there is a clear distinction in earnings between the few rich stars in each sport and the journeyman professionals. They state that snooker has "an élite of perhaps twenty players" and point to a distinction between high earning test cricketers with six figure wages and "the average county professional" (for whom they give Simon Hughes, who earned £50,000 in the whole of his twelve years in county cricket, as an example). Vamplew describes how league cricket in the 1890s provided little attraction for star cricketers but was greatly attractive to journeymen players in county cricket, eventually forcing the counties to raise their conventional maximum wage, offer winter pay to more players, and expand the fixture lists.
Kiss (Korn song)
"Kiss" is a power ballad written and recorded by American nu metal band Korn, and produced by The Matrix and Atticus Ross for their untitled eighth studio album. It was released as the album's third and final single on April 7, 2008.
Music and structure
"Kiss" features Terry Bozzio on drums, who had provided for eight of the album's songs. Jonathan Davis also provided additional percussion for the song, along with "Hushabye". The song makes use of keyboards by Zac Baird, heavy drum patterns and violins. Allmusic described "Kiss" as "like [a] vaguely Beatlesque Mellotron," implying its difference from the rest of the album.
Chart performance
The song failed to chart worldwide due to its limited release in the United States.

Plot summary
Shauna McAllister is unable to recall past events and it all started six weeks after a car accident that left her suffering a coma. She doesn’t recall anything about the accident, as well as the months leading up to the accident. Alligations surface that effect Shauna, and her father, Landon McAllister. Landon is head of McAllister MediVista, a pharmaceutical research company, who is a senator that has his eyes on the White House. Shauna is somewhat aware that something stands in the way for their relationship to be reconciled. Her brother Rudy who is her only ally, and her father’s favorite is the victim in the very accident she is being blamed for.
Shauna turns to Wayne Spade, her forgotten boyfriend, to help her piece things together to figure out the events that led up to the accident. On her journey for answers she discovers a mental ability which causes more questions to be raised. She begins to lose trust in all those around her, and it starts to become clear that those around her are determined to keep her from recovering her memories that she pursues.
