Kireedam can refer to either:
Kireedam (Tamil: கிரீடம், English: The Crown) is a 2007 Tamil film directed by A. L. Vijay, who made his directorial debut with the film. The film was a reworked version of Sibi Malayil's 1989 Malayalam classic film, Kireedam starring Mohanlal. Na. Muthukumar assisted with writing the dialogues. The film starred Ajith Kumar in the lead role with Trisha Krishnan and Rajkiran in other pivotal roles, while Vivek, Saranya, Cochin Haneefa and Santhanam appear in supporting roles. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, while Tirru was the cinematographer for the film. The film opened on 20 July 2007 to positive reviews and turned to Hit.
Sakthivel (Ajith Kumar) is an implicitly obedient son of a sincere policeman, Rajarajan (Rajkiran). Sakthi and his dad share the same dream: That of seeing him enter the police force. The entire family comprising two other daughters, the mom (Saranya) and a wastrel of a brother-in-law (Vivek) are cuddly and close-knit. Rajarajan is from the old school of life and honesty is his watchword. In a venal system, this lands him in trouble often.
Kireedam (Malayalam: കിരീടം, English: The Crown) is a 1989 Indian Malayalam drama film written by A. K. Lohithadas and directed by Sibi Malayil. The film stars Mohanlal, Thilakan, Parvathy, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Mohan Raj, Murali, Sreenath, and Cochin Haneefa in the main roles. The music for the film was composed by Johnson.
The film is about a Malayali youth, Sethumadhavan (Mohanlal), whose hopes and aspirations are shattered by a combination of fate and human falling. It explores how society type-casts individuals and forces them to act that part whether they like it or not. Mohanlal won the 1989 National Film Award-Special Jury Award "for portraying young man's agony and pain marvellously and in unique style". Lohithadas won the Kerala Film Critics Award for Best Screenplay for that year.
A sequel to the film was released in 1993 titled Chenkol (English: The Sceptre). Kireedam was remade into four other Indian films; the Telugu film Rowdyism Nasinchali (1990), the Kannada film Modadha Mareyalli (1991), the Hindi film Gardish (1993), and the Tamil film of the same name (2007).
When your baby leaves you all alone
And nobody call you on the phone
Doncha feel like crying
Doncha feel like crying like crying like crying
C'mon baby, cry to me
When you're all alone in your lonely room
And there's nothing but the smell of her perfume
Doncha feel like crying
Doncha feel like crying like crying like crying
C'mon baby, (c'mon) cry to me
Nothing could be sadder than a glass of wine alone
Loneliness loneliness, it just a waste of your time
But you don't ever you don't ever have to walk alone
You see, so c'mon take my hand
C'mon walk with me
When you're waiting for a voice to come
In the night there is no one
Doncha feel like crying
Doncha feel like crying like crying like crying
C'mon baby, cry to me
C'mon baby, that's right cry to me
Yes, I want you to come on baby
C'mon c'mon cry to me
I want you to c'mon baby
C'mon c'mon and cry to me
Yeah c'mon baby c'mon I want you to cry cry cry to me
