Kinoulton is a village in Nottinghamshire, England. It is located 10 miles south east of the city of Nottingham. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 1,037. 2004 estimates indicate a population of 990.
The name Kinoulton probably has Saxon origins and 'Cynhildestun (Cynhilds Farm) is a suggested starting point. The name having weathered though many variations over the years to become Kinoulton.
