Kimiko Glenn

Kimiko Glenn is an American actress best known for playing Brook Soso in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black.

Early life

Kimiko Glenn was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, where she grew up with her sister Amanda, and parents Mark and Sumiko, of Scottish-Irish-German and Japanese descent, respectively. She attended Desert Vista High school.

Career

Halfway through her freshman year of college at the Boston Conservatory, she was cast as Thea in the 1st National Tour of Spring Awakening. After touring for two years, she settled in New York.

Glenn has also appeared in feature films Construction; Nous York; and Hairbrained starring Brendan Fraser & Parker Posey; and the movie-musical short, Galaxy Comics, by director Kevin McMullin. In 2014, she joined the cast of the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black as Brook Soso. She has also appeared in the music video "I Wanna Get Better" by Bleachers.
