Psychopathy

Psychopathy (/saɪˈkɒpəθi/, differentiated from—sociopathy (/soʊsiˈɒpəθi/) is traditionally defined as a personality disorder characterized by enduring antisocial behavior, diminished empathy and remorse, and disinhibited or bold behavior. It may also be defined as a continuous aspect of personality, representing scores on different personality dimensions found throughout the population in varying combinations. The definition of psychopathy has varied significantly throughout the history of the concept; different definitions continue to be used that are only partly overlapping and sometimes appear contradictory.

Hervey M. Cleckley, an American psychiatrist, probably influenced the initial diagnostic criteria for antisocial personality reaction/disturbance in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), as did American psychologist George E. Partridge. The DSM and International Classification of Diseases (ICD) subsequently introduced the diagnoses of antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) and dissocial personality disorder, stating that these have been referred to (or include what is referred to) as psychopathy or sociopathy. Canadian psychologist Robert D. Hare later repopularised the construct of psychopathy in criminology with his Psychopathy Checklist.

Killer Instinct is a series of fighting video games originally created by Rare.

Killer Instinct (1994)

An arcade fighting game developed by Rare and published by Midway and Nintendo. Initially released in arcades in 1994, and rumored to use an "Ultra 64" hardware engine, in reality the proprietary arcade hardware was co-developed by Rare and Midway. The game received a high-profile launch on the SNES, as well as on the Game Boy handheld the following year. A digital port, titled Killer Instinct Classic, was released as part of a bundle with its 2013 sequel's first season on Xbox One.

Killer Instinct 2 and Killer Instinct Gold (1996)

A 1996 arcade-only game developed by Rare, licensed by Nintendo, and manufactured by Midway. It was the sequel to Killer Instinct. The game was also ported to the SNES, but never released. Like its predecessor, the game features two 8-way joysticks with six buttons each for attacks (three punches and three kicks), allowing for both a single player mode or a two player versus mode. It was later ported to the Nintendo 64 console under the name Killer Instinct Gold. A digital port, titled Killer Instinct 2 Classic, was released as part of a bundle with its 2013 sequel's second season on Xbox One.

Mad Dog Coll (film)

Mad Dog Coll is a 1992 film directed by Greydon Clark. It stars Eddie Bowz and Christopher Bradley. It was released in the United States as Killer Instinct.

Li Bai

Li Bai (701 – 762), also known as Li Po, was a Chinese poet acclaimed from his own day to the present as a genius and a romantic figure who took traditional poetic forms to new heights. He and his friend Du Fu (712–770) were the two most prominent figures in the flourishing of Chinese poetry in the Tang Dynasty that is often called the "Golden Age of China". The expression "Three Wonders" referred to Li Bai’s poetry, Pei Min’s swordplay, and Zhang Xu’s calligraphy.

Around a thousand poems attributed to him are extant. His poems have been collected into four Tang dynasty poetry anthologies, and thirty-four of his poems are included in the anthology Three Hundred Tang Poems, which was first published in the 18th century. In the same century, translations of his poems began to appear in Europe. The poems were models for celebrating the pleasures of friendship, the depth of nature, solitude, and the joys of drinking wine. Among the most famous are "Waking from Drunkenness on a Spring Day", "The Hard Road to Shu", and "Quiet Night Thought", which still appear in school texts in China. In the West, multi-lingual translations of Li's poems continue to be made. His life has even taken on a legendary aspect, including tales of drunkenness, chivalry, and the well-known fable that Li drowned when he reached from his boat to grasp the moon’s reflection in the river.

Vidra, Alba

Vidra (Hungarian: Alsóvidra or Kisaranyos) is a commune, located in Alba County, Romania. It is the commune with the second highest number of villages (39) in Romania. These are: Băi, Bobărești, Bogdănești, Bordeștii Poieni, Culdești, Dealu Goiești, Dos, Dosu Luncii, Dosu Văsești, Drăgoiești-Luncă, Ficărești, Gligorești, Goiești, Haiducești, Hărăști, Hoancă, Jeflești, Lunca, Lunca Bisericii, Lunca de Jos, Lunca Goiești, Lunca Vesești, Modolești, Nemeși, Oidești, Pitărcești, Pleșcuța, Poieni, Ponorel (Aranyosponor), Puiulețești, Runc, Segaj, Urdeș, Vâlcăneasa, Vâlcești, Valea Morii, Vârtănești, Văsești and Vidra. It also included Vidra de Sus and other villages until 1924, when they were split off to form Avram Iancu Commune.

Its current mayor, as of 2006, is Ioan Alexandru Resiga.
