Kenny Ortiz

Kenneth "Kenny O" Ortiz (born November 10) is an American record executive, songwriter, record producer, and is currently the CEO of World Trade Entertainment. Widely known as the driving force behind SWV, because he signed the group, picked their hits, got heavily involved in their creative process for original songs, remixes, mixes, collaborations, and last but not least established their vibe and brand. Ortiz is also known for discovering Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo also known as the Neptunes, whom Ortiz signed to EMI to their first production and writing deal. Ortiz would A&R the unreleased compilation album which featured Charlie Wilson and Joe StoneStreet (the first member of Blackstreet) which subsequently led to Kelis's signing and recording. It was Kenny Ortiz's idea to make Pharrell and Chad to change their production name to the Neptunes (the name they went by as a group, which was later changed to N.E.R.D).

Ortiz's A&R and promotion skills have been instrumental in bringing numerous music figures across multiple genres to multi-platinum sales, including but not limited to SWV, Anita Baker, Keith Sweat, Neptunes, BeBe Winans, CeCe Winans, Ryan Toby, Mantronix, Simply Red, The Cure, Ten Thousand Maniacs, Tracy Chapman, Martha Wash, and MC Hammer.

The Tomorrow People

The Tomorrow People is a British children's science fiction television series, created by Roger Price. Produced by Thames Television for the ITV Network, the series first ran from 1973 to 1979. A remake appeared in 1992, with Roger Price acting as executive producer. This version used the same basic premise as the original series with some changes, and ran until 1995. A series of audio plays using the original concept and characters (and many of the original series' actors) was produced by Big Finish Productions between 2001 and 2007. In 2013, an American remake of the show premiered on The CW. It is shown on E4 in the UK.

Premise

All incarnations of the show concerned the emergence of the next stage of human evolution (Homo novis) known colloquially as Tomorrow People. Born to human parents, an apparently normal child might at some point between childhood and late adolescence experience a process called "breaking out" and develop special paranormal abilities. These abilities include psionic powers such as telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation. However, their psychological make-up prevents them from intentionally killing others.

Kenny McCormick

Kenneth "Kenny" McCormick (sometimes spelled as McKormick) is a main character in the animated adult television series South Park. Kenny is one of the main characters in the series, along with his friends Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, and Eric Cartman. His oft-muffled and indiscernible speech—the result of his parka hood covering his mouth—is provided by co-creator Matt Stone. He debuted on television when South Park first aired on August 13, 1997, after having first appeared in The Spirit of Christmas shorts created by Stone and long-time collaborator Trey Parker in 1992 (Jesus vs. Frosty) and 1995 (Jesus vs. Santa).
