Brother Bear

Brother Bear is a 2003 American animated adventure comedy-drama film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the 44th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series. In the film, an Inuit boy named Kenai pursues a bear in revenge for a battle that he provoked in which his oldest brother Sitka is killed. He tracks down the bear and kills it, but the Spirits, angered by this needless death, change Kenai into a bear himself as punishment. In order to be human again, Kenai must learn to see through another's eyes, feel through another's heart, and discover the meaning of brotherhood.

The film was the third and final Disney animated feature produced primarily by the Feature Animation studio at Disney-MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida; the studio was shut down in March 2004, not long after the release of this film in favor of computer animated features. The film received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature, but lost to another Walt Disney Pictures release, Pixar's Finding Nemo. A direct-to-video sequel, Brother Bear 2, was released on August 29, 2006.

Typeface anatomy

Typeface anatomy describes the graphic elements that make up printed letters in a typeface.

The strokes of a letter are the lines that make it up. Strokes may be straight, as in k l v w x z, or curved, as in c o s. If straight, they may be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal; if curved, open or closed. Typographers also speak of an instroke, where one starts writing the letter, as at the top of a c f, and an outstroke, where the pen leaves off, as at the bottom of c e j k t y.

Typefaces are born from the struggle between rules and results. Squeezing a square about 1% helps it look more like a square; to appear the same height as a square, a circle must be measurably taller. The two strokes in an X aren't the same thickness, nor are their parallel edges actually parallel; the vertical stems of a lowercase alphabet are thinner than those of its capitals; the ascender on a d isn't the same length as the descender on a p, and so on. For the rational mind, type design can be a maddening game of drawing things differently in order to make them appear the same.

Spur route

A spur route is a usually short road forming a branch from a longer, more important route (typically a major road, freeway, Interstate Highway, or motorway). A bypass or beltway is never considered a true spur route as it typically reconnects with another or the same major road. Both loops and spurs can be forms of special route.

Canada

Ontario

In the province of Ontario, most spur routes are designated as A or B, such as Highway 17A, or 7B. A stands for "Alternate Route", and usually links a highway to a town's central core or main attraction, while B stands for "Business Route" or "Bypass", but are used when a main highway is routed around a town and away from its former alignment. The designation of "C" was used twice (Highway 3C and 40C), and is assumed to mean "Connector". Both highways have long since been retired and are now county roads. There was also one road with the D designation (Highway 8D, later the original Highway 102), and this may have stood for "Diversion", as it was along the first completed divided highway in Canada at the time (Cootes Drive in Hamilton).

Spur (botany)

A spur in botany is a spike, usually part of a flower.

In certain plants, part of a sepal or petal develops into an elongated hollow spike extending behind the flower, containing nectar which is sucked by long-tongued animals (insects, birds or bats). Plants with such structures include Delphinium, Aquilegia, Piperia, and some orchids, such as Gymnadenia. Spurs may be useful in species identification – for example Yadon's piperia cannot be easily distinguished from other Piperia save for the unusually short length of its spur.

In tropical pitcher plants of the genus Nepenthes, the spur is a small appendage at the base of the pitcher lid.

Directed by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni. The film marks marathi debut of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi and Tisca Chopra and newcomers Vrushali Kulkarni and Sameer Bhate. The film also debut of Bollywood music composer Amit Trivedi and singer Benny Dayal. Highway is a Bengali film, directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyay and produced under the banner of Surinder Films. The film features actors Koel Mallick and Parambrata Chatterjee in the lead roles. Music of the film has been composed by Anupam Roy. This film was released on 8 August 2014.

Plot

The story of the film revolves around the life of two people, who come across each other on a highway, which takes a very significant position in their life, being the witness of all their ups and downs. Their love story takes various twists and turns.

Koel and Parambrata are playing the role of an unhappy couple in this film, who could not bridge the gap between themselves even after trying for long. Koel's role is that of a Bengali girl while Parambrata plays a non-Bengali guy. Though their marriage was a love marriage, they realize that there was a vacancy in their life. The way they overcome that vacancy and discover each other from a new point of view, forms the climax of the story.
