Kasam (1993 film)

Kasam is a Nepali movie (1993) that stars Rajesh Hamal, Kristi Mainali, Beena Budhathoki, Shree Krishna Shresthaand Jagan Shreshtha. It also stars Saroj Khanal and Mausami Malla in a guest appearance role in chart buster song "Ban Maa Phoolyo Phool". Rajesh Hamal and Kristi Mainali were together for third time seen in this movie after Yug Dekhi Yug Samma and Deuki.

Plot

In aid of seeking revenge for his dad's death, against a bandit called Kala Daku, Shankar team up with two men, a police inspector, Mangal and a run away convict, Vijay. Shankar makes his living by driving a truck while Vijay and Mangal masquerade as villagers to surface as saviors to protect the village against Kala's gang. And then Kala and his men abduct Vijay; now Mangal and the entire police force will have to negotiate with Kala to let Vijay off in exchange for the landlord's son

Kasam (English: Promise) is an upcoming Indian Hindi romantic television series, which is scheduled to premiere sometime in March 2016, and will be broadcast on Colors TV. The series will be produced by Balaji Telefilms of Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The series will be aired on every Monday to Friday nights.

Sharad Malhotra and Kratika Sengar have been finalised to play the female and male lead roles respectively. Based in the backdrop of Punjab, the plot of the series will take viewers through different time phase and how love survives all ordeals.
