Karji is a small village in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra state in India. It is located in the Khed taluka on the Khed - Bahirawli road, about 18 km from Khed.
Karji (village code 03988500) consists of four sub-villages (Tambe Mohallah, Choughle Mohallah, Rehmat Mohallah and Amshet,karji gavalwadi), with over 600 homes and a total population approaching 3000. The main source is Farming i.e. Rice and most of young people are working in Middle east i.e. Oman, Saudia, Kuwait, UAE, Bahrain and Qatar.
