Karen Davila
Kristin Karen Dávila, professionally known as Karen Dávila (born 21 November 1970), is a Filipino broadcast journalist and television presenter.
Career
She is the host of ABS-CBN News Channel's eponymous program Headstart with Karen Davila, ABS-CBN's late-night newscast Bandila, Current Affairs show 3-in-1 alongside Atty. Claire Castro and K Brosas and radio anchor/commentator on DZMM's Pasada Sais Trenta with Vic Lima. She was former host of the show Wonder Mom, My Puhunan, the documentary The Correspondents, XXX: Exklusibong, Explosibong, Exposé, Y Speak, and Barangay Dos, and former news anchor of ABS-CBN Headlines, ABS-CBN Insider, TV Patrol and TV Patrol World.
Dávila has also won numerous awards both locally and internationally in her career, including two awards from the prestigious New York Festival and the 2008 Ten Outstanding Young Men Award for Broadcast Journalism.
Personal life
Dávila graduated from the University of the Philippines Diliman with a degree of Bachelor of Arts major in Mass Communication. She is married to DJ Sta. Ana, Head of Operations for TV5's News5, and together they have two children, David and Lucas.
