Raj Kanwar (Hindi: राज कंवर; c. 1961 – 3 February 2012) was a Bollywood film director, writer and film producer based in Mumbai, India.
Kanwar began his career directing plays in Delhi. He then moved to Mumbai where he worked as an assistant to directors like Raj Kumar Santoshi. His directorial debut was Deewana. Released in 1992, the film was a box office Blockbuster and marked the screen debut of Shahrukh Khan. He directed several other box office hits like Laadla (1994), Jaan (1996), Jeet (1996), Judaai (1997), Daag: The Fire (1999) and Badal (2000). Kanwar went on to discover actors like Lara Dutta and Priyanka Chopra who he cast in his film Andaaz in 2003. His last film was Sadiyaan (2010).
The veteran filmmaker, Raj and Anita Kanwar had two sons, Karan Raj Kanwar and Abhay. On 3 February 2012, he died due to a kidney ailment in Singapore. He was educated in Col. Brown Cambridge School in Dehra Dun.
Karan Raj Kanwar (born 9 December 1991) is an Indian film producer based in Bollywood. He is the son of 'Raj Kanwar' and 'Anita Kanwar'. He is the current head of the production and distribution company INDERJIT FILMS. Karan Raj Kanwar is recognized as the youngest film producer in India.

Çıkaran is a Moor-class mooring and salvage tug. Bow, McLachlan and Company of Paisley in Renfrewshire, Scotland built her for the Royal Navy, who commissioned her as HMDYC Moorstone in 1919. In 1948, she was decommissioned and, in 1951 she was sold to civilian owners in Turkey, who renamed her Kurtaran. In 1962, she was sold again and her new owners named her Çıkaran. She was still in service in 2003.
