This station is licensed to Denver, Colorado and broadcasts at 105.1 MHz with an ERP of 100 kW and is under ownership of Wilks Broadcasting, which has bought the entire Denver radio cluster (including KXKL) from CBS Radio.[1]

KXKL began as an oldies radio station in July 1987 and continues in that capacity today playing music from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. KXKL also broadcasts in HD and streams online. Their slogan is "The Greatest Hits of All Time".
