KOSS
KOSS (1380 AM, "NewsTalk 1380") is a radio station broadcasting a News/Talk format. Licensed to Lancaster, California, USA, it broadcasts from Palmdale and serves the Antelope Valley area. It came on air in August, 1956. The station is currently owned by High Desert Broadcasting LLC and features programming from ABC Radio, HLN and Radio America.
Chasing the Why is one of the station's better known local shows; a weekly call-in psychotherapy program, hosted by Andrew Pari, L.C.S.W., where he covers a wide range of social topics focused towards the Antelope Valley audience.
KOSS was formerly KWJL until January 30, 2008.
