KOG Games

KOG Games is an American video game publisher based in Irvine, California. They specialize in online free-to-play games and currently publish the 2.5-dimensional side-scrolling action MMORPG, Elsword. They are a subsidiary of South Korean game developer KOG.

History

KOG Games was originally founded in 2010 as a joint venture between South Korean game developer KOG and international publisher LevelUp! with the objective of bringing KOG’s games to North America. Their first game was Elsword, which began its open beta test April 27, 2011. In June 2012, KOG purchased LevelUp!’s interest in the company to become the sole owner. In August 2012, KOG officially changed the company name to KOG Games Inc. KOG Games sells the virtual currency K-Ching, which can be used to purchase virtual goods within their games.

Kog

Kog is a village in the hills northeast of Ormož in northeastern Slovenia, right on the border with Croatia. The area traditionally belonged to the Styria region and is now included in the Drava statistical region.

The parish church in the village is dedicated to Saint Wolfgang (Slovene: sveti Bolfenk) and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor. The church was built in 1688, but greatly damaged in the Second World War and rebuilt in the second half of the 20th century.

The village was named Sveti Bolfenk pri Središču (German: St. Wolfgang bei Polstrau) until the mid-20th century.

Kogé

Kogé is a small town and arrondissement located in the commune of Adjohoun in the Borgou Department of Benin. It lies in the fertile Ouémé River valley, where agriculture is the main industry. In 2008 during the 2008 Benin floods, the area was affected by the flooding of the Ouémé River which affected much of Adjohoun commune.
