KLXQ is a classic rock music station in Hot Springs, Arkansas. It broadcasts with an ERP of 3.1kW (3100 watts) from its broadcast tower on Pearcy Road, southwest of Hot Springs in Garland County, Arkansas.
KLXQ is owned and operated by US Stations, LLC, a local company that also owns KQUS-FM, KHTO, & KZNG in Hot Springs, Arkansas and KWXE-FM & KHGZ in Glenwood, Arkansas.
The station is branded as "101.9 The Rocket," and features a beep, the station's signature sound, made to sound like that of a NASA transmission from the early days of space travel.
The US Stations broadcast studio is in the former KVTH-TV Channel 26 building near the Hot Springs Mall. The previous KLXQ studio was in the upstairs part of the television studio, but has since moved to a new addition built in late 2006.
KLXQ shares a building with sister stations KQUS-FM, KHTO, and KZNG.
You say you're leaving - going back home
Where's your family. where do you come from
Something's missing in your life. you've felt it all along
Retrace your steps, balance and check where it all went wrong
The spirit is broken. the path is overrun
You can't move forward and now nothing gets done
I hope you find some. in a peace along the way
Whatever it takes I pray you'll make it home on christmas day
In case you don't find what you need when you finally arrive
And your heart is snowed in there's no warmth or light
Take this candle with you and this book of matches as well
As you're climbing the walls there's no answer at all
Except the gift you give yourself
I trust that you'll find some in a peace through times that are rough
