KQNG-FM

History

The station went on the air as KPOY on 1980-01-21. On 1982-10-21, the station changed its call sign to KIPO-FM and on 1987-03-31, to the current KQNG.

KIPO (89.3 FM) is a radio station licensed to Honolulu, Hawaii. The station is owned by Hawaii Public Radio, and airs HPR's news and talk programming, with jazz featured weekday evenings. KIPO programming is simulcast on sister stations KIPM and KIPH.
