Northstate Public Radio
North State Public Radio (KCHO 91.7 Chico/KFPR 88.9 Redding) is a public radio organization run by California State University, Chico, and has a station in Redding and a station in Chico. It airs programming from National Public Radio (NPR) and other public radio producers and distributors, as well as locally produced news and public affairs programs, classical music, talk radio and jazz.
KFPR's signal covers a large portion of northern California, including the cities of Red Bluff, Oroville, Paradise, Anderson, and Shasta Lake City.
Translators
In addition to the main station, KCHO is relayed by an additional six translators to widen its broadcast area.
