KDLW is a commercial radio station located in Los Lunas, New Mexico, broadcasting to the Albuquerque, New Mexico area on 106.3 FM. KDLW airs a Mainstream Top 40 music format branded as "Z 106-3".
The format was launched on April 1, 2013, as a successor to the former "OMG! Radio" that aired from 2009-2011 on 97.7 and on 106.7 from 2011-2013. The "OMG!" airstaff, however, were not moved to the new station, which had been running jockless for the first year. Local personalities include Ashley V, Rico Rich and k-dawg.
106.3 broadcasts a full powered signal from a site near Los Lunas and covers Albuquerque from the south, and also serves communities in Valencia County and Central New Mexico.
In the Spring of 1992, 106.3 FM signed on as KZPY FM. It was an affiliate of the "Z-Rock" network, and aired an active rock format.
In January 1995, 106.3 flipped to a "Dance and Romance" format with the calls KDNR. The format would become CHR-Dance, branded as "Rhythm Driven 106-3" a few months later. The station was owned by Crescent Communications, which also owned KSOL (now KYLD), which would also become the sister format to the new format "WILD 106", which in the Bay Area would be known as "Wild 107-7". The station was sold to American General Media in 1997 shortly after changing formats to Rhythmic Top 40.
KAGM (106.7 MHz) is a radio station licensed to Los Alamos, New Mexico. It is owned by American General Media and has a Rhythmic Contemporary format branded as "Wild 106.7". Its studios are located on Carlisle Blvd in Northeast Albuquerque and the transmitter tower is located west of Los Alamos, New Mexico.
For more than a decade, 106.7 FM was home to an Oldies format for northern New Mexico as KBOM-FM branded as "K-Bomb" with slogan: Oldies Blast From the Past!. The name referenced the city of license Los Alamos as being the birthplace of the atomic bomb. In 2000, it would be acquired by American General Media, which already had its own oldies station on KABG-FM. However, the K-Bomb format would relocate to the 94.7 frequency in Santa Fe, although AGM would acquire that station as well and would bring a permanent end to K-Bomb in 2002.
In early 2001, AGM would launch "The Planet" on 106.7 as KKPL-FM with a modern rock format that used the slogan World Class Modern Rock. However, soon after its debut, Citadel Communications, a major player in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe radio market, would change two of its stations to rock formats, including a similar format on 103.3 FM as well as a classic rock station to compete against Clear Channel, which had owned most of the market rock radio stations at the time. This would put KKPL in competition with about six other area rock stations for advertising revenue. Longtime KTEG morning host "Buck" was among the local personalities at this short-lived station.
Alto dame espacio que no puedo respirar
Veneno en las venas nada es en realidad
Cada minuto eh vivido un siglo
Despertar interno, intenso suicidio
Desconosco los demonios que me acechan
Despiadadas son las ansias por tu esencia
Cada minuto eh vivido un siglo
Despertar interno, intenso suicidio
