K58CM

K58CM was a low-power television station licensed to Duluth, Minnesota. It was most recently a translator that broadcast programming from the Trinity Broadcasting Network, via satellite. The station broadcast in analog on UHF channel 58.

On March 31, 2006, the station applied for a construction permit to begin converting operations to digital television, with plans to broadcast at 3 kW on channel 41. This permit has since expired, however, an identical permit was granted on November 3, 2011, with the station to have broadcast on channel 41 as K41MV-D.

TBN took K58CM silent March 26, 2010 due to declining support, which has been attributed to the digital transition, and likely universal carriage of the network by the cable and satellite providers in the area. It returned to the air on April 30, 2010, but left the air once more on December 29, 2011 after channels 52–69 were removed from the television bandplan. At this point, K58CM was the only low power analog station servicing the Twin Ports, Now that it has gone silent, all remnants of analog television have stopped broadcasting in the Twin Ports area.
