Juraj Bača (born March 17, 1977 in Komárno) is a Slovak sprint canoer who competed from 1998 to 2005. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he won a bronze medal in the K-4 1000 m event at Athens in 2004.
Bača also won seven medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with six golds (K-2 500 m: 1998, K-2 1000 m: 1999, K-4 500 m: 2002, 2003; K-4 1000 m: 2002, 2003) and one bronze (K-4 500 m: 2001).
After retiring from competition, Bača now works as a kayak coach. In autumn 2006 he appeared on the celebrity TV dance competition Let's Dance.
Bača was a member of the ŠKP Bratislava club. He is 186 cm (6'1") tall and raced at 86 kg (189 lbs).

The Bača (pronounced [ˈbaːtʃa]) is a river in northwestern Slovenia with a length of 22 km (14 mi). It runs from Bača pri Podbrdu to Bača pri Modreju, where it joins the Idrijca River as its last right tributary. It has the pluvio-nival regime and belongs to the Adriatic Sea Basin.

Baňa is a village and municipality in Stropkov District in the Prešov Region of north-eastern Slovakia.
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1957.
The municipality lies at an altitude of 415 metres and covers an area of 1.912 km². It has a population of about 190 people.
According to the 2001 Census, 100.0% were Slovak.
According to the 2001 Census, 95.5% were Roman Catholic, 3.0% Greek Catholic and 1.0% Orthodox. 0.5% did not belong to any denomination.
