Josh Hill (footballer)

Josh Hill (born 19 January 1989) is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Western Bulldogs.

Career

Originally from Broome in the Kimberley region of Western Australia, Hill moved to Perth, where he attended Trinity College. He was zoned to Claremont in the West Australian Football League (WAFL), but did not play a senior game for the club.

He was drafted by the Western Bulldogs with selection 61 in the 2006 National Draft, and made his AFL debut in round 17 of the 2007 season against the West Coast Eagles. In round two, 2008, Hill was named the Rising Star nominee. In 2009, Hill played 23 games, kicking 33 goals as a half-forward flanker and forward pocket. Hill struggled for form in 2010 and 2011, playing 24 games between the two seasons, and kicking 26 goals.

Hill was traded to the West Coast Eagles in October 2011 in exchange for the 49th pick overall in the 2011 National Draft. He made his debut for West Coast in round one of the 2012 season, scoring three goals. Hill again kicked three goals in the second round of the season, against Melbourne.

Josh Hill (racing driver)

Joshua Hill (born 9 January 1991) is a British former racing driver from Surrey, England. He is the son of 1996 Formula One world champion Damon Hill and the grandson of two-time Formula One world champion Graham Hill.

Hill has been racing cars since 2008. After seasons in the British Ginetta and Formula Ford championships, he competed in the Toyota Racing Series, a Formula 3 style open wheel racing series run in New Zealand during the European winter. In 2011 he competed in the British Formula Renault Championship, taking his maiden win in the November Finals.

In 2012 Hill raced in Formula Renault 2.0 NEC championship, finishing third overall and taking five wins.

On 9 July 2013 Hill announced his retirement from motor racing.

Joshua Hill (baseball)

Joshua James Hill (born 27 March 1983 in Armadale, Western Australia) is an Australian professional baseball player. He is currently a pitcher in the Pittsburgh Pirates organisation.

Professional career

Minnesota Twins

Hill was signed to the Minnesota Twins organisation in 2000 and debuted with the Gulf Coast League Twins in 2001, going 2–2 with a 3.63 ERA in his first season.

In the 2002 International Baseball League of Australia season, he went 1–0 including a save, pitching six scoreless innings for the New South Wales Patriots. He split the minor league season between the Quad City River Bandits, Elizabethton Twins GCL Twins.

In the 2003 Claxton Shield, Hill pitched another four scoreless innings for New South Wales, while allowing only one hit. Hill had right shoulder surgery in '03 and did not play in 2004.

Hill was included in Australia national baseball team for the 2006 World Baseball Classic, replacing the injured Ryan Rowland-Smith. He pitched one game, coming in for Damian Moss. In 2006 he was 6–6 with a 4.88 ERA for Fort Myers Miracle. In 2007 he was promoted to the New Britain Rock Cats, and in the 2007 Baseball World Cup, he pitched four games for Australia.

Josh Hill (American football)

Josh Hill (born May 21, 1990) is an American football tight end for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Idaho State. He was signed by the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2013.
